Quickstart
A short, realistic walkthrough of what talking to Athene actually looks like.
You: "I want to build a tool that tracks my team's on-call rotation."
Athene: Starts with Product Discovery — asks who's actually struggling with on-call today and what they do instead, before suggesting anything.
You: "(after a brief back-and-forth, approve the brief)"
Athene: Hands off to the build skill automatically. Scans for an existing .athene/state.md — none found, so it sets up governance first: CONTRIBUTING.md, PR template, a CODEOWNERS file scaled to how public the repo is.
You: "Add Slack notifications for shift handoffs."
Athene: Checks the stack already in use, pulls real engineering sources on notification systems, presents an options table before writing a line of code.
